High-Pressure Jetting

High-pressure drain jetting in Farnborough & nearby

High-pressure water to strip out grease, scale, silt and stubborn blockages, leaving the pipe clean.

Overview

High-pressure water jetting is the most effective way to clear stubborn blockages and clean a drain properly. Our jetting equipment sends water at high pressure through the pipe, breaking up grease, scale, wipes, silt and debris and flushing it away.

Unlike rodding, which can leave the build-up on the pipe walls, jetting scours the whole inside of the pipe. That makes it the right tool for drains that keep blocking, and for regular maintenance on busy commercial drains.

When you need drain jetting

  • Stubborn or recurring blockages
  • Grease and fat build-up from kitchen drains
  • Scale and debris narrowing the pipe
  • Silt and leaves in outside gullies
  • Some cases of root intrusion
  • Planned maintenance for commercial drains

How it works

A specialist jetting nozzle is fed into the drain. Rear-facing jets pull it along the pipe while forward jets break up whatever is in the way, and the water carries the debris downstream.

If a blockage keeps coming back, or the cause isn't clear, we can run a CCTV camera through before or after jetting to check there's no damage underneath.

Homes and businesses

We jet drains for homeowners, landlords, letting agents, restaurants and commercial premises. Kitchens that send a lot of fat down the drain benefit most from jetting on a regular schedule, which is far cheaper than an emergency call-out when it blocks.

FAQs

High-Pressure Jetting: common questions

Is high-pressure jetting safe for my pipes?

Yes, when it's done properly. We assess the condition of the pipe first and set the pressure to suit it.

What can jetting remove?

Grease, fat, wipes, soap residue, scale, silt, food waste and general debris. It also works on some root intrusion.

How long does drain jetting take?

Most home jetting jobs take one to two hours, depending on how bad the blockage is and the size of the system.

Will jetting stop future blockages?

It helps a lot. Because it cleans the pipe walls rather than just clearing a hole, there's less build-up left for waste to catch on.

Do I need a CCTV survey first?

Not always. If a blockage is persistent or the cause isn't obvious, we may recommend one before or after jetting.
