Blockage Clearance
Blocked drain clearance in Farnborough & nearby
Blocked sinks, toilets, showers and outside drains cleared fast, with the flow checked before we leave.
Overview
A blocked drain rarely fixes itself, and it usually gets worse. We clear blocked sinks, toilets, baths, showers and outside drains across Farnborough and the surrounding towns, using professional drain rods and high-pressure water jetting to remove the blockage properly, not just punch a hole through it.
Grease and food waste, wipes, hair, scale and garden debris are the usual culprits. Whatever's causing it, Jack finds it, clears it, and runs water through the system to prove it's flowing before he leaves. Most jobs are finished within the hour.

Signs your drain is blocked
- Water draining slowly from sinks, baths or showers
- A toilet that rises when flushed, or won't flush away
- Gurgling noises from plugholes or the toilet
- Bad smells from drains, inside or out
- An outside drain or manhole overflowing
If you're seeing more than one of these at once, the blockage is probably in the main drain rather than a single pipe.
How we clear it
Jack starts by finding where the blockage is, lifting the nearest inspection chamber if needed. Soft blockages like fat, wipes and paper are cleared with rods or a jetter. Hard blockages like scale, roots or a damaged pipe need the right tool for the job, and if something looks wrong inside the pipe, we can put a camera down to see exactly what it is.
Before he goes, he runs water through the system and shows you it's flowing, then leaves everything clean and tidy.
Stopping it coming back
Most blockages don't return once they're properly cleared. If one keeps coming back in the same place, there's usually a reason, such as a cracked pipe, a displaced joint or roots getting in. In that case we'll recommend a CCTV drain survey so you can see the cause before spending money on a fix.
FAQs
Blockage Clearance: common questions
What causes drain blockages?
Usually grease, food waste, wipes, sanitary products, hair or soap scum. Outside, leaves and silt build up in gullies. Tree roots and damaged pipework can also cause blockages that keep coming back.
How quickly can you get to a blocked drain?
We're typically with you in under an hour, 7 days a week, 6am–9pm. Call and Jack will give you a time straight away.
Can you clear outside drains?
Yes. We clear inside and outside drains, including gullies, manholes, inspection chambers and the underground pipework between them.
Will the blockage come back?
Once it's properly cleared, most don't. If it does, that usually points to damage inside the pipe, which a CCTV survey will find.
Is there a call-out fee?
No. The call-out is included in the price Jack agrees with you on the phone before he sets off.
