CCTV Drain Surveys

CCTV drain surveys in Farnborough & nearby

A camera inside your pipes to find blockages, cracks, roots and collapses without digging.

Overview

A CCTV drain survey shows you exactly what's happening inside your pipes. We feed a high-resolution camera through the drain from an existing access point, so there's no digging and no guesswork. It's the quickest way to find out why a drain keeps blocking, smells, or is leaking somewhere you can't see.

The camera picks up blockages, cracks, displaced joints, root ingress, scale build-up and collapsed sections, and records where along the pipe they are. Afterwards we talk you through the footage and recommend the proportionate fix, which is often much smaller than people fear.

When to get a CCTV survey

  • A drain that keeps blocking in the same place
  • Slow drainage or bad smells with no obvious cause
  • Damp patches, subsidence or sunken ground near a drain
  • Tree roots found during drain cleaning
  • Before buying a property, so you know what you're taking on
  • After building work near a drain run

Buying a home? Survey the drains first

Standard homebuyer surveys don't look inside the drains. A pre-purchase CCTV survey can turn up cracked or root-damaged pipes before you exchange, giving you evidence to renegotiate or ask the seller to fix them.

What happens after the survey

We show you what the camera found and explain it in plain English. If something needs fixing, we'll tell you the options, from jetting out scale to a no-dig patch repair, and agree a price before any work starts. If everything looks fine, we'll tell you that too.

Most home surveys take one to two hours, depending on the size of the property and how much drainage there is.

Will it disrupt my property?

No. We go in through existing manholes and inspection chambers, so there's no excavation.

What do I get afterwards?

We go through the footage with you, explain what we found and where, and recommend any repairs or maintenance needed.

Do you survey commercial drains?

Yes. We survey drains for homes, landlords, letting agents and commercial premises.
